A Midlands-based collaborative artist development session, lead by Jasmine Gardosi.

Poets’ Place is an informal gathering of poets that meets every other Saturday. It’s an opportunity for local poets to meet like-minded people, to give and solicit feedback on poetry, to hear about upcoming events and opportunities, to write, to rehearse… Poets’ Place can be whatever you make it!

Sessions follow a relaxed structure that involves time to write, chat, share, and get feedback but you can use the space however you wish. There’s also an agreed theme every fortnight which poets can use as inspiration to write, if they wish to.

The sessions are facilitated by Birmingham-based poet Jasmine Gardosi. Whether you’re a published poet, a slam champion, or someone who is just wondering whether poetry might be worth a try, stop by. There is no need to sign up or book a place; just show up with your poems or a blank notebook and pen!
