Calypsonian performance poet, writer, musician and lyricist. Alexander's work involves the use of word and lyric structures set to simple melodies, which he plays on the small guitar. The world created within these structures allows for satire, double-entendre and masquerade techniques to be explored fully. He is a qualified teacher, leads workshops all over the country and regularly appears on BBC local radio.
