Dizraeli
Dizraeli

Rapper, writer, poet and singer, Dizraeli is a hip hop tour de force. Taking in politics, love, rain, supermarkets, grief, drug culture and masculinity with a sense of humour and directness that can make you wince, Diz is the BBC Radio 4 Poetry Slam winner, the 2006/7 Farrago UK Slam Poetry Champion, and a massive idiot at times. He has also authored 3 hiphop plays, one of which (The Rebel Cell, co-written with Baba Brinkman) won Spirit Of The Fringe award and rave reviews at the Edinburgh Festival, two years running.
Dizraeli's latest challenge Unplaned will be documented by film maker and fellow traveller, Billy Macrae. The pair are making an overland trip to Cairo, following Dizraeli's vow to never fly again, as proof that air travel isn't necessary.
The pressure is on with only two weeks and a £500 budget to fund the trip, which will, if incomplete in the allotted time frame, be lost. For more information about Unplaned go here
