I am a performance poet, also known as a “theatrical poet”. I am also a theatre practitioner and I believe that theatrical approach has influenced my poetry, both the way it’s written and presented: I often use monologue and dialogue techniques for writing and acting skills for performing. I also feel that ancient Eastern cultures and visual arts have had impact on my poetry. 

As a poet and performance artist I have performed at various venues and events in London and elsewhere, including Glastonbury Festival. I have published four books of poetry, three in my mother tongue and one in English (I Was the Angel of the Sea). I have also published poetry in magazines and collections, in the UK and elsewhere.
