A night of spoken word, performance poetry and music starring Radio 4's Saturday Live poet in residence Kate Fox. Kate was poet in residence on the Great North Run, delivering breathless poetry to the runners. She is a Northern Promise Award winner and recently appeared on Radio 3's The Verb.

With the help and support of Apples and Snakes, we are delighted to welcome Raymond Antrobus up from London. He is a poet whose work has been described as provocative, delicate and thoughtful, using a variety of emotional qualities, tones and rhythms. People have described his stage, delivery and presence as ‘sensitively aggressive’ and ‘fiery water’.

He won the Farrago International Slam in October 2008 and is a regular performer at major festivals. Raymond is a member of poetry collective PiP (Poem In-between People) and helps organize and promote their high profile music and poetry events, PoeJazzi.
