United States of Poetry, Film, February 1998: Welcome to the United States of Poetry: the film experience which has taken America by storm. The singular voice of the American poem reemerges in a new definition of poetry in every style and tradition of American expression allowable. Poetry leaps off the page and splashes across the screen with spoken word fused with video and film imagery, in a united state of different cultures and different expression. Today's poets being seen and heard now in this exuberant celebration of the richness and vigour of American poetry.
